This annual event celebrates Minnesota's tradition of corporate giving and members of the Minnesota Keystone Program. Members of the program give at least two percent of their pre-tax earnings to charitable organizations and several are acknowledged for their outstanding giving programs at this event. Companies that support this celebration align themselves with this nationally recognized program, support the work of the chamber foundation, and identify with community-minded business leaders from across the state.
The Bloomington Future Leaders program connects students from Bloomington high schools with mentors in the local business community. The Bloomington Chamber and Bloomington Public Schools host numerous activities throughout the year for engaged students including Fall and Winter Business Conferences, a Spotlight Speaker series and mock interviews at both Jefferson and Kennedy High Schools. Scholarships are also awarded to graduating seniors at Jefferson and Kennedy High Schools who exemplify the characteristics of a Bloomington Future Leader.
